The Galley · dashboard proofs

Dashboards pulled as proofs: looked at, marked up, then pressed or spiked.

Each proof is a working page. Press its buttons, tick its steps, refresh it; nothing leaves your browser. The data is invented, so share freely.

How proofs are named

Sheet
The family of page: folio for a practice, synoptic for a founder. A new kind of page gets a new sheet.
Edition
A whole number, raised when the shape changes: folio-4 then folio-5.
Proof letter
A branch that tries one idea on the same edition: folio-4a, folio-4b. The best one becomes the next edition.
Address
/<sheet>-<edition><letter>/. Every address stays; nothing is taken down.
Stamps
On the stone: being set. In proof: up for marking. Pressed: the one in use. Spiked: tried and set aside, kept for the record. Superseded: replaced by a later edition.
